Reporting an error
The tools run entirely in your browser, so nothing you paste reaches the site and there are no logs to look at. A report needs enough detail to reproduce the problem here. Include:
- The page, by name or address.
- The input you pasted, or a small piece of it that still shows the problem.
- What the tool returned, and what you expected instead.
- Your browser, if the problem looks like a rendering fault.
For an error in a guide, quote the sentence. If a number is wrong, say what the right number is and how it was worked out.
Confirmed errors get fixed and recorded on the corrections page with the date and what changed.
